I was touched, angered, and saddened to see this web site dedicated to your friend Darren, but, with all respect, I would feel better if the money were going to a "gang task force" if local law enforcement has one in your area. Best wishes, Bob

So a young man's life was tragically snuffed out by a gang banging criminal and your answer is to take away the rights of the people who didn't do it. One wonders what the thought process is to arrive at this insane conclusion and what your friend would think of your "tribute" to him. I agree with the previous poster, give the money to a gang task force, not some lying, politically motivated group of ghouls.

The bottom line is a gun was made available to a gang member, which resulted in a killing. Every day guns are stolen or sold from people who are supposed to be responsible gun owners. Children and adults are continuously made victims when weapons fall into the hands of angry teenagers, thieves, and upset employees, in this case a gang banger! I feel you are on the right track! At least you are taking it apon yourself to do something about it! Talk is cheap! I think you are honoring your friend with you efforts. Good luck!

We are so looking forward to your arrival in NJ. But I'm so sorry that you have to be bothered reading the trash that some people are writing here. Keep the faith brother. You are doing a good thing for a very worthwhile reason. I'm sure Darren is proud of your efforts...and that he is right beside you in the VW. Enjoy the journey. Carole NJ MMM
